Following a dominant first-round knockout of Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105 on April 26, Eddie Hall expressed interest in a potential clash with heavyweight powerhouse Francis Ngannou. The 2017 World’s Strongest Man, known for his immense strength and punching power, said he’d be willing to step into the cage with Ngannou if the opportunity—and paycheck—were right.
Though Hall acknowledges the vast difference in experience between him and the former UFC champion, he believes his raw knockout power gives him a slim chance to cause an upset. Interestingly, UFC’s PowerKube data suggests Hall hits even harder than Ngannou, fueling his confidence.
Speaking on Michael Bisping’s YouTube channel, Hall said he initially dismissed the idea of fighting Ngannou, but reconsidered after hearing from fight promoters. While he concedes that Ngannou would win 95 out of 100 times, Hall believes that in the right scenario, his punch could be the deciding factor.
“He’s still human,” Hall noted. “If I catch him clean, he’s going to sleep.”
Hall added that he would only take the fight if the financial terms made the risk worthwhile.

Meanwhile, Ngannou has other high-profile options, including a potential matchup with fellow knockout artist Deontay Wilder. A fight between Ngannou and Wilder—whether in boxing or MMA—would promise fireworks, as both are considered among the most powerful punchers in combat sports history.
