LSU standout star suffered a foot and ankle injury during the third quarter of the Tigers’ matchup against Texas, casting uncertainty over her availability for upcoming games. The injury occurred just a night after Morrow delivered a stunning 36-point performance against Florida, showcasing her dominance on the court.

She is a key player for Kim Mulkey’s squad, was forced to exit the game following the injury, leaving LSU fans holding their breath. The severity of the injury is yet to be determined, but her absence would be a significant blow to the Tigers as they push toward postseason play.

According to the television program, she was undergoing X-rays to evaluate the extent of her damage. In the fourth quarter, Morrow was allowed to return to the bench in his walking boot.

Aneesah’s setback comes at a critical time for the Tigers, who are also missing Flau’jae Johnson.

Flau’jae, who is also wearing a walking boot, is now rehabbing from a shin ailment and has missed the whole SEC tournament.

LSU lost 56-49 in the SEC Tournament semifinals. On social media, supporters were more concerned about Aneesah’s health than with tonight’s conclusion.

The health of Flau’jae and Aneesah ahead of the March Madness tournament is unknown. Fortunately, they have at least 12 days to recover, and it is quite likely that LSU will receive no less than a #3 seed. This position offers them an opening round game that they should win, regardless of whether the team is fully healthy.
