The Las Vegas Raiders have already made waves this offseason with some unexpected moves, but they may not be done just yet. After replacing Antonio Pierce with Super Bowl-winning coach Pete Carroll and securing a new franchise quarterback in Geno Smith via trade, the team is still looking to add more firepower. Their next target is another high-profile name, a four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver
Raiders Eyeing Another Star, Geno Smith and the Star Spotted Training Together
Now that Geno Smith has landed in Las Vegas, he’s already getting to work—and possibly recruiting talent to join him. This offseason, the veteran quarterback has been training with the four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, a dynamic playmaker who spent last season with the Houston Texans before an ACL tear cut his campaign short after just eight games. the star is none other than Stefon Diggs.
While Diggs posted 496 yards and three touchdowns in his limited action, his injury and age have made his free agency market slower than expected. However, the possibility of teaming up with Smith in Las Vegas could provide an intriguing opportunity for both sides.
How Realistic Is a Diggs-to-Raiders Move?
Diggs is currently a free agent, and while he’s worked out with multiple quarterbacks this offseason, his session with Smith naturally raises speculation. The Raiders, who already boast weapons like Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, could further solidify their passing attack by adding Diggs—assuming he’s fully recovered and willing to take on a complementary role.

Given the Raiders’ aggressive approach this offseason, it wouldn’t be surprising if they made another splash to bolster their offense. With Smith at the helm and Carroll leading the charge, Las Vegas is clearly aiming to contend in a competitive AFC West. Adding Diggs could be the next bold move to push them even closer to that goal.
