Iowa State football continues to strengthen its 2026 recruiting class with the addition of a third wide receiver, securing a commitment from Omaha, Nebraska, a standout from Millard South High School.
Jackson, ranked as the No. 97 wide receiver nationally and the third-best player in Nebraska for the 2026 class, brings size and athleticism to the Cyclones’ future receiving corps. Standing at 6-foot-1, Jackson had an impressive offer list that included Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Kansas State at the Power Conference level before ultimately choosing Iowa State.
The Cyclones made Jackson a priority early in the 2026 cycle, visiting him during the January evaluation period. He reciprocated the interest by making an unofficial junior day visit to Iowa State’s campus during the last weekend of January. The strong connection built between Jackson and the coaching staff helped solidify his decision.
During his junior season, Jackson proved to be a dynamic playmaker, amassing nearly 1,200 all-purpose yards. He hauled in 50 receptions for 778 yards and seven touchdowns while also making an impact on special teams, returning both a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns. His versatility and explosiveness make him a valuable addition to Iowa State’s offensive scheme.
With Jackson’s commitment, Iowa State’s 2026 recruiting class now boasts eight total commits, placing them at No. 22 nationally in the rankings.

Why It Matters
The Cyclones have been aggressive in securing offensive playmakers for the future. Jackson joins Ames High’s Jeffrey Roberts and Ohio’s Milan Parris as the third wide receiver in the 2026 class. Wide receivers coach Noah Pauley has been instrumental in Iowa State’s recruiting success, having already landed 2025 talents like Xzavion Robinson, Dyllan Malone, and Karon Brookins.
What It Means
Jackson is one of three Millard South players Iowa State has heavily targeted. Among them is quarterback Jett Thomalla, who has developed a strong connection with Jackson. Additionally, tight end Isaac Jensen, ranked as the fifth-best player in Nebraska, remains a priority for the Cyclones. If Iowa State can secure commitments from Thomalla and Jensen, it could further solidify their pipeline to Millard South and enhance their offensive future.
