JUST IN: Bills Drop Truth Bomb on New Weapon Addition to Help Josh Allen Reclaim AFC Crown After Diggs Exit

The Buffalo Bills had one of the most effective offenses in the NFL last season. Josh Allen earned MVP honors, and under offensive coordinator Joe Brady, the team averaged 30.9 points per game. Although their season ended with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Allen showed clear improvement, particularly in limiting turnovers. The receiving corps, led by Khalil Shakir and supported by Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, and Dalton Kincaid, helped keep the scoreboard active.

However, some critics argue that the absence of a true No. 1 receiver—especially after Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans—was a major reason the Bills fell short. This has sparked calls for Buffalo to pursue a star wideout. While the team did sign Josh Palmer in free agency to add speed, many feel that alone isn’t enough to dethrone the Chiefs.

Still, it’s worth noting that in the AFC Championship Game, the Bills were only down by three points with a shot at victory late in the fourth quarter. Even with the departures of Amari Cooper and Hollins (to the Patriots), Buffalo’s offensive weapons remain formidable.

Coleman is expected to make significant strides in his second year, and Kincaid, once hampered by injuries, should return to his dynamic rookie form. Tight end Dawson Knox remains a steady presence, and wideout Curtis Samuel—despite a slow start last season—could become a greater asset in 2025.

Despite not having a clear-cut top receiver, Buffalo still ranked among the league’s elite offenses. With the NFL Draft approaching, adding a star receiver could be more of a luxury than a necessity. Thanks to Allen and a deep group of playmakers, the Bills appear well-equipped to remain a potent force in 2025—regardless of whether they land another headline-grabbing receiver.
