ESPN: Georgia Suspends Beloved 4 Star From all Activities – This could be more bad news

The Georgia Bulldogs, led by head coach Kirby Smart, confront difficulties with player behavior outside of football. This week’s off-field incidents involving two players are the latest in a series of unpleasant events. Georgia attempted to impose suspensions for the two most recent events on Thursday.

Smart, who led the Bulldogs to back-to-back national titles in 2021 and 2022, is currently facing disciplinary difficulties that may affect the team’s chemistry. ​

The Star who is a rising sophomore, was arrested early Thursday morning by Athens-Clarke County Police on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and speeding, according to ESPN.

Georgia suspended Nitro Tuggle from all team activities on Thursday in response to the incident, according to On3’s Rusty Mansell.

In a separate incident, offensive lineman Ma rques Easley was involved in a vehicle crash on Monday night, leading to an indefinite ban from the team. “Nitro Tuggle and Marques Easley have been suspended indefinitely from all team activities,” UGA Sports Communications confirmed to On3’s DawgsHQ on Thursday. “There will be no further comment.”

The Bulldogs have had several driving-related incidents in recent years, which is a troubling pattern. Unfortunately, a fatal crash in January 2023 resulted in the lives of offensive linemen.

Tuggle was a four-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class and a top 100 player, according to Rivals. ESPN classified Easley, a member of the 2024 class, as a four-star talent.

Georgia is entering another offseason, continuing a troubling trend of players involved in vehicle-related events.
