After a 6–6 campaign in 2024 that left fans hungry for more, head coach Brent Pry wasted no time overhauling his staff. In a series of sweeping changes, Pry let go of defensive coordinator Chris Marve and offensive line coach Ron Crook, replacing them with two highly regarded hires. NFL veteran Sam Siefkes, known for his innovative defensive strategies during his time with the Arizona Cardinals, has been tapped as the new defensive coordinator. Simultaneously, Pry secured offensive line coach Matt Moore—an established recruiter with a proven track record from his West Virginia days—who is expected to bolster the trenches significantly.
In an unexpected twist, offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen departed for Ohio State, prompting Pry to bring in Phillip Montgomery as his replacement.
