Seattle – Bonneville Seattle Media Group and the Seattle Mariners have officially extended their long-standing partnership, ensuring that Seattle Sports remains the exclusive radio home for Mariners baseball for multiple years to come.
Kevin Martinez, the Mariners’ President of Business Operations, expressed excitement about the deal, stating, “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Bonneville and continue delivering Mariners content to our dedicated fans. Bonneville has been an invaluable partner for over 30 years, helping us engage our audience through both traditional radio and digital platforms.”
The announcement was made during the “Wyman and Bob” show on Seattle Sports, where Mariners broadcasters Rick Rizzs and Gary Hill joined to discuss the extension.
The upcoming 2025 season will mark the 35th consecutive year that 710 KIRO-AM (Seattle Sports) serves as the Mariners’ flagship radio station. The Mariners first partnered with KIRO-AM in 1985 and remained there until 2002, later returning in 2009 when the station transitioned to an all-sports format.

Cathy Cangiano, Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Bonneville Seattle, shared her enthusiasm about continuing the collaboration. “At Bonneville, we are committed to providing high-quality, innovative, and engaging local content. Renewing our partnership with the Mariners is an ideal fit, and we look forward to delivering exciting coverage to the fans.”
Listeners in the Mariners’ broadcast area, which includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and British Columbia, will be able to stream every game live through the Seattle Sports app or SeattleSports.com, ensuring seamless access to the action no matter their location.
Kyle Brown, Seattle Sports Program Director, highlighted the network’s dedication to Mariners coverage. “We are excited to continue bringing Mariners audio content to fans across the Pacific Northwest, both on-air and digitally, making it easy for them to stay connected with the team.”
Seattle Sports will continue to air all 162 regular-season games and spring training matchups while maintaining year-round Mariners programming. This includes exclusive weekly interviews with players, coaches, and executives, as well as in-depth shows like “The Dugout” and “Extra Innings.” Coverage will also feature pregame and postgame shows, “Trident Talk” on Sundays during the season, “The Hot Stove Show” in the winter, and the “Cactus League Report” during spring training.
By securing this long-term extension, the Mariners and Bonneville Seattle Media Group reinforce their commitment to providing fans with extensive and in-depth radio coverage of the team, keeping the Pacific Northwest connected to Mariners baseball for years ahead.
