BREAKING: Georgia Bulldogs Leaves Fans Jaw-Dropping After Confirming the Injury Situation Of A Top Talent

The Georgia Bulldogs have started their spring practice in preparation for the 2025 college football season, but they are dealing with several key injuries on both sides of the ball. Head coach Kirby Smart shared an update on the team’s injury status, noting that nine players are currently sidelined for spring practice.

Smart explained that while the injury count isn’t excessively high, it will still have an impact on the team’s spring progress. He compared the current situation to previous years, with the Bulldogs having 12 players out in 2024, eight in 2023, and 14 in 2022. This year, the total is closer to eight or nine, depending on how some injuries are classified.

Several key players are unavailable due to shoulder injuries that required labrum surgeries, including defensive end Gabe Harris, offensive tackle Monroe Freeling, safety Jaylan Morgan, defensive tackle Christen Miller, and tight end Colton Heinrich. Smart mentioned that labrum repairs are fairly common, and the five players undergoing rehab are making good progress. With Freeling, Miller, and Harris all projected as starters, their absence will provide more first-team opportunities for players further down the depth chart.

In addition, true freshman quarterback Ryan Montgomery is out for the spring while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in August 2024 during his high school season opener.

Georgia defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, a former five-star recruit, will have a limited role this spring as he recovers from foot navicular surgery. Head coach Kirby Smart mentioned that while Jonah-Ajonye looks great and is working out and running, he’ll be eased into spring practice as he continues his recovery. Jonah-Ajonye made one tackle in four games before undergoing the surgery.

Additionally, Georgia’s top cornerback, Daylen Everette, isn’t fully healthy for spring practice either. Smart explained that Everette will also be limited but is not sidelined completely. He is working through a sports hernia and groin repair, but the prognosis is positive, and Everette is gradually getting back to full activity, moving around and participating in limited drills.
