NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that cornerback Tre’Davious White is heading back to where it all began. The former first-round pick has agreed to a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills, valued at up to $6.8 million. White, originally drafted by Buffalo in 2017, spent six seasons with the team before departing in 2023.
White’s brief stint with the Los Angeles Rams didn’t go as planned. Though he started the season as their top corner, he was a healthy scratch by Week 5 and rode the bench for the next month before being traded to the Baltimore Ravens in November.
Through 93 career games with the Bills, Rams, and Ravens, White has racked up 333 tackles, 73 pass breakups, and 18 interceptions. His prime years came in Buffalo, where he finished runner-up for Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2017 and earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2019 and 2020.

Now, he returns to a Buffalo secondary that struggled last season, ranking 24th in pass defense and allowing 226.1 yards per game. His veteran presence could provide the boost the Bills’ defense needs.
Deal confirmation came from Kevin Conner and Robert Brown of @UniSportsMgmt.
