One fan questioned, “Did Arizona offer Bryce James, or is he walking on? He doesn’t start for his high school and had 30/28/54 splits for his AAU team.”
“Bronny was a legitimate high major prospect who, had he followed the usual path, would have been an excellent player at USC.” That’s not what Bryce is. Another added, “I suspect his value for Arizona will mostly come off the court.”
James, of course, is a member of a Sierra Canyon team that is loaded. Even outside of his playing career, there are benefits to having LeBron James’ kid on your club.
But it’s not shocking to see something similar for Bryce considering the severe blowback Bronny James received for his NBA Draft spot. James’s youngest son lacks his brother’s explosiveness. He is not as skilled as a defender or a spectacular playmaker.
