Barnet Labour has praised the Mayor of London’s Friday transportation pricing pilot.
In an attempt to address the notable decline in Friday tube trips since the Covid-19 pandemic, pay as you go users will be able to utilize off-peak tickets all day on Fridays through May 31st.
“We want to encourage our residents to use public transport and so central London to be accessible for our residents, so this trial from the Mayor is very welcome,” stated Alan Schneiderman, the cabinet member for environment and climate change for Barnet Labour Party. We’re hoping for a successful outcome.
