End of journey for him: Suns have Gotten his replacement….

The Phoenix Suns have gone 4-6 in their last 10 games and will surely attempt something before the upcoming NBA trade deadline.

Will they take a run at Jimmy Butler or sign a different star to bolster their chances?

According to Evan Sidery, the Suns are “a team to watch as a trade suitor for Dorian Finney-Smith.”

Sidery went on to say the Suns could “make salaries work” by bringing in a third team or trading for Jusuf Nurkic or Grayson Allen.

Is Finney-Smith the answer to Phoenix’s problems?

This season, the forward is averaging 10.8 points and 4.3 rebounds.

He is a catch-and-shoot professional who is also helpful with defense, which would greatly assist the Suns.

He is celebrated for his ability to guard multiple types of players and could complement the Suns’ lineup.

Phoenix would be smart to pursue Finney-Smith.

With that being said, there are a number of other teams who have been intrigued by the idea of trading for him, including the Los Angeles Lakers and others.

That means the Suns could have competition for him if they attempt to make a deal.

Will the Suns make any more moves after pursuing Finney-Smith? They are currently in 11th place in the Western Conference and may need to make some changes to move up the standings. While Finney-Smith could be a fantastic addition, other players might follow.
