NASHVILLE: Colt Anderson, the coordinator of special teams, Scott Fuchs, the assistant coach for the offensive line, and defensive assistant Steve Donatell round up the Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan’s coaching staff. An additional hire that Callahan needs to make is a strength and conditioning coach.

For the previous four seasons, Anderson assisted Callahan as the special teams coach for the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2023, the Bengals’ special teams were in the NFL’s top 10 in a number of different categories. The last coordinator working for Callahan is Anderson. The coordinators of the offense and defense are Nick Holz and Dennard Wilson.

Anderson played special teams and as a safety for the Minnesota Vikings (2009–10), Philadelphia Eagles (2010–13), Indianapolis Colts (2014–15), and Buffalo Bills (2016–17) for nine seasons. In his 84 career games, he made seven starts. Like “books” with a “F,” Fuchs has coached college teams for thirty years. His first NFL post will be this one. During his three years as Kansas’ coach, seven players were selected to the All-Big 12 team. Donatell was a part of the defensive coaching staff that led the Dolphins to 12 straight games with a takeaway.

Initially, Donatell coached for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. In 2022, he was employed as a defensive quality control coach by his father, Ed Donatell, the defensive coordinator for the Vikings.
