Leeds go to the South Coast of Wales on Tuesday evening, seeking to extend their unbeaten streak and secure automatic promotion. The Whites have won all six league games this season, leapfrogging the Tractor lads and closing the gap on Southampton in second place. With a third of the season remaining, all Leeds can do is keep the pressure on the top two and pray for a slip-up.

The two teams previously played at the end of November, when goals from Piroe, Rutter, and James cancelled out Jamie Patterson’s opening-minute strike. Leeds are now 13 positions and 27 points ahead of their opponents.

Joel Piroe, Joe Rodon, Connor Roberts, and Dan James all return to the squad to face their former club. James, who sits on the bench, has recovered from his injury sustained at Preston and has been training since Monday. Jamie Shackleton, Sam Byram (hamstring), Karl Darlow (dislocated thumb), Pascal Struijk (groin strain), and Stuart Dallas (leg) are all out for Leeds. The starting eleven remains unchanged, with Archie Gray, Willy Gnonto, and Patrick Bamford all keeping their spots amid suggestions that Daniel Farke may rotate the team.

Leeds United team news: Daniel Farke makes one change to his side at Swansea City.

Six Championship victories in a row is unlikely to need many changes, and Daniel Farke has remained confident in Saturday’s lineup at Swansea City. Leeds United are on fire right now, and they will stick with the same starting lineup that started just three days ago at Elland Road.

There is one alteration to Wales’ matchday squad, with Daniel James fit enough to sit on the bench at his former club. Junior Firpo will have little natural cover in the Swansea.com Stadium team as Sam Byram steps down.

Given Archie Gray’s start three days ago, Connor Roberts may have wanted to make his full Whites debut at his local club, but Farke has avoided that temptation. While Roberts and James sit on the bench, Swansea-born Joe Rodon will make a homecoming in the Leeds defence.

Ethan Ampadu will play alongside Rodon, continuing his championship streak of 32 straight starts. Crysencio Summerville continues to attack, seeking to improve on his impressive performance last weekend in front of goal.

David Webb is the referee tonight against Swansea City, and he will be supported by Shaun Hudson, Kevin Howick, and Paul Howard (fourth official).

Leeds United: Illan Meslier; Archie Gray, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Junior Firpo; Ilia Gruev, Glen Kamara; Wilfried Gnonto, Georginio Rutter, Crysencio Summerville, Patrick Bamford.
