FCSB, one of Romania’s premier football clubs, has been active in the transfer market, securing several key signings to bolster their squad.

 

**Valentin Crețu’s Contract Extension**

 

Valentin Crețu, a 35-year-old right-back, has agreed to a one-year contract extension with FCSB, keeping him at the club until December 2025. Club owner Gigi Becali highlighted Crețu’s impressive performances and popularity among fans as reasons for the extension, along with an increase in his salary.

 

**Acquisition of Baba Alhassan**

 

FCSB has secured the services of Ghanaian midfielder Baba Alhassan from Hermannstadt. The club paid €600,000 for the transfer, with Hermannstadt retaining a 20% interest in any future transfer. Alhassan, who had extended his contract with Hermannstadt until 2026, is expected to join FCSB during the winter transfer window.

 

**Signing of Luis Phelipe**

 

Brazilian forward Luis Phelipe is set to join FCSB from Politehnica Iași. The transfer fee is reported to be €200,000, with Iași retaining a 20% interest in any future transfer. Phelipe, who has previously played for clubs in Brazil and Romania, is anticipated to strengthen FCSB’s attacking options in the upcoming season.

 

**David Miculescu’s Arrival**

 

In August 2022, FCSB signed Romanian forward David Miculescu from UTA Arad by activating his €1.7 million release clause. Miculescu agreed to a five-year contract and has since been integrated into the team’s offensive lineup.

 

**Marius Ștefănescu Joins FCSB**

 

In June 2024, FCSB announced the signing of winger Marius Ștefănescu from Sepsi OSK for a reported fee of €1.31 million. Ștefănescu made an immediate impact by scoring on his debut in the Supercupa României and has continued to contribute significantly in both domestic and European competitions.

These strategic signings reflect FCSB’s commitment to enhancing their squad depth and performance in both domestic leagues and European tournaments.
