On Thursday afternoon, Wrestlenomics reported that WrestleMania 42 would no longer be held in New Orleans. The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation confirmed the change in a statement, explaining that the event will be postponed to a later year. The statement also announced that WWE Money in the Bank is set to take place in New Orleans in 2026.
The following day, Triple H officially confirmed the relocation of WrestleMania 42 from New Orleans but reassured fans that the city will still host a future WrestleMania event. He further revealed that WWE Money in the Bank 2026 is planned for Saturday, August 29th in New Orleans.
