JUST IN: NBA’s Explosive Announcement Post-Awards Leaves Denver Fans Reeling

The NBA continued its 2024-25 regular season award announcements on Friday evening by revealing the three All-NBA Teams.

The 2024-25 Kia All-NBA First Team included Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics, and Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Additionally, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets earned a spot on the All-NBA First Team following an outstanding season.

This recognition is a huge honor for all players, acknowledging their remarkable performances throughout the year.

Most of the First Team selections were expected, especially Jokic, who finished second in the MVP race after a historic season.

At 30 years old, the superstar center averaged 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, 10.2 assists, and 1.8 steals per game, while shooting 57.6% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc.

Jokic’s season was truly historic, making him just the third player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, joining teammate Russell Westbrook and legend Oscar Robertson.

He also became the first player ever to rank in the top three league-wide in points, rebounds, and assists per game.

Friday marked Jokic’s seventh career All-NBA selection and his fifth time on the First Team.

This accolade is well-earned for the three-time MVP, who delivered one of the most impressive statistical seasons in NBA history and led the Nuggets back to the playoffs.
