Charles Collingwood has been privileged to play the J.R. of Ambridge, Brian Aldridge, in The Archers for more than 50 years, and has a history to tell.

From game shows with Bernard Manning and Noel Edmunds, news reading on the BBC World Service, countless TV dramas and many guest appearances on Call My Bluff, to Countdown, winning the soap opera special of The Weakest Link, and mixing with the best on BBC Radio 4’s Quote Unquote and Just A Minute, Charles has certainly diversified.
