“Maybe play some golf,” the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year continued. That’s what I’m going to do in Indiana until the weather gets too cold. I’m going to turn pro at golf.

The Fever were hoping to square the best-of-three series 1-1 on Wednesday. It was a close game that resulted in a heated moment off the court when security guards escorted a fan from his courtside seat after he got into an argument with Clark.

With 1:29 remaining in the first quarter, he was shown on ESPN being escorted out of his seat by security personnel inside the Mohegan Sun Arena. The incident occurred when Clark indicated the supporter to the refs and seemed to comment on something that was said.

After the first half, Clark had a brief conversation with ESPN’s Holly Rowe about the event and shared how she was managing to keep focused on the game.

“My four other teammates that are right here with me,” Clark said. “I think that’s the most important.”

The playoff series got off to a physical start on Sunday, when Clark suffered a black eye at the hands of Sun guard DiJonai Carrington.

Clark later clarified that she didn’t believe Carrington, 26, meant to hurt her.
