The Cleveland Browns are looking forward to the next season and many more with great hopes and aspirations.

The group is anticipated to compete at the greatest level and improve upon its encouraging season from the previous year.

Results have been uneven, but when healthy, the club has shown to be extremely good, and the front office has awarded well-deserved contract extensions to some of its most well-known players.

Notably, head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry both had their contracts extended in the off-season.
Paul DePodesta, Chief Strategist, hasn’t, though.

In response to a question about it, club owner Jimmy Haslam implied that DePodesta will remain connected to the company in some capacity, though it’s possible he’s considering a different job going forward (via Daryl Ruiter’s post on Twitter).

Right now, the team just cannot afford any distractions.

The Browns possess ample resources to challenge the projections of pundits and analysts that rank them as the third-best team in the AFC North Division.

To get over the hump, they may need a redesigned offense, a championship-caliber defense, and a quarterback who is determined to return to full strength.

The athletes are under pressure to continue building on their success from the previous season.

It’s comforting for the general manager and coaching staff to know that they will have some stability to continue developing this roster, even if they don’t succeed in finishing the job this season.
