At a conservative conference on Friday, Donald Trump asserted that if he wins a second term in office, he can “avert World War III.” The Republican nominee for president spoke at The Believers’ Summit, which was organized in Palm Beach, Florida, by Turning Point Action, the advocacy division of Turning Point USA, a conservative organization. The conservative-leaning Right Side Broadcasting Network carried the entirety of Trump’s speech on Friday. “I will prevent World War III, nobody else is going to say that, we are closer today to World War III than we have been since the Second World War,” Trump declared.
