AZIZ KI IS STILL IN THE BOOKS OF YOUNG AFRICANS, FOR NOW
According to SoccerLaduma, Young Africans president Hersy Ally Said has expressed concern over the possibility of losing promising attacking midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki. The 28-year-old left-footer has been extensively linked with a move to the Orlando Pirates. Ally Said spoke during the Toyota Cup launch in Johannesburg. Kaizer Chiefs will compete against Young Africans in that tournament.
“It’s quite difficult for us, especially losing a guy like Aziz Ki. But I’m not saying we’ll lose him. There is a lot of interest from several clubs, including some in South Africa. However, Young Africans have a great connection with the athlete, and as club leaders, we have done our due diligence to ensure the youngster’s continued participation.
“The talk is going quite well, but nothing has been resolved yet,” he told the journalists.
CONTRACT LIMBO, ORLANDO PIRATES TO POUNCE?
The Yanga president wants to maintain his player, but insists that nothing has been finalised yet. Aziz Ki has yet to sign a new contract, thus there is always the possibility that he will leave the club. Currently, he is a free agent.
WHERE WILL SALENG GO NEXT SEASON?
Monnapule Saleng made 17 league appearances last season, scoring three goals and assisting twice. He was just photographed at the airport with the rest of the Bucs squad as they began their trip of Europe. This week’s media stories have heavily implied that he will not be a Buccaneer next term. The arrival of R11 million man Deivi Miguel Vieira, aka Gilberto, puts his immediate future at the club in peril.
When do Kaizer chiefs face young Africans?
Aziz Ki and his colleagues will embrace the challenge of facing the renowned Glamour Boys on July 28th in the Toyota Cup.
Is AZAZ KI the correct profile for the Orlando Pirates?
