Not long ago, Fadlu Davids’ representative stated that the former Orlando Pirates coach will not join Simba FC. Suddenly, the move occurred.
Don’t believe everything agents say in the media. Fadlu Davids, a former Orlando Pirates coach, has been confirmed by Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
WHAT WAS SAID BEFORE?
Soon after winning the Moroccan league title as Josef Zinnbauer’s assistant, Simba reportedly made a move for the former Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United coach.
However, David’s agent has stated that the transaction will not take place. “There has been interest in the services of Coach Fadlu but the coach is currently only focused on the task at hand with Raja and the future of the team’s journey into the CAF champions league next season,” said Rasthoem Simons, the agent for David.

Chippa United has signed former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns star Andile Jali.
Andile Jali, a former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns player, has returned to his native province of the Eastern Cape.
The 34-year-old star from Matatiele, Eastern Cape, has seen a meteoric rise. A brief stint with the Moroka Swallows followed by an extended absence without a club has come to an end. The former Orlando Pirates number 15 has joined with Gqeberha and East London’s Chippa United.
“Chippa United FC is pleased to announce the signing of the prominent Andile Jali for the next season. Jali was born in Matatiele, Eastern Cape, and left the province to seek a successful career in both international and domestic football, according to the club.
“He is finally returning to his home province, bringing a plethora of expertise and talents to bolster our team. “Mhlekazi, welcome back to the Eastern Cape!”
The agent speaks out.
Meanwhile, Jali’s agent, Mike Makaab, has outlined the reasons behind the move to Gqeberha.
“‘AJ’ and I had a lengthy debate about whether he wanted to continue or not. Makaab told iDiski Times that he was undecided.
“And then I received a phone call from Chairman Chippa.” I call him Chairman. And the chairman and I had a long chat about Andile [Jali]’s desire to continue playing. I told him that if the project and the environment were right for him, he may continue.
“But Andile has given me his word that he will only make the decision if he is completely committed to playing the game again.” Because he doesn’t want to be known as someone who only played football for the sake of playing it. You know he wants to be influential.
“I believe the determining aspect was the fact that we are all aware that he is a Matatile boy. They refer to him as the Mayor of Matatiele.
“He’s from the Eastern Cape, and what better way to end your career than with a team based in your home province?
“So that made a lot of sense. There was a lot of emotion surrounding it. ‘AJ’ was really excited when I informed him who it was.
“We had two or three clubs interested, but this was the one that truly struck a chord in his heart. And it was not difficult, hey. It was roughly 10 days between when he made up his decision and when we signed the forms.
“So we’re just really excited. The deal is for one year, with a one-year option. That’s how both parties wanted it.
“If Chippa exercises the option, it must be because Andile has made a significant contribution to the football club. But for me, it’s quite exciting.
