Following Team USA’s scrimmage against the Select Team on Sunday, point guard Steph Curry intimated that he was fine despite suffering an apparent right hand injury on the court mid-game, according to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Dalton Johnson.
When Johnson inquired about Curry’s injuries during the scrimmage, the Warriors star replied, “I had a little blood,” smirking and clutching the microphone in his right hand.
Team USA coach Steve Kerr also indicated to reporters that the Warriors star was fine after the scrimmage.
Curry is hard at work preparing for his first Olympic Games alongside LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and the rest of Team USA. Despite Sunday’s scare, the two-time NBA MVP seemed to be doing everything he can to prepare.
