Coventry City news about transfers and new hires Raphael Rodrigues and Ephron Mason-Clark talk about their separate moves.

Due to past and current transactions, Coventry City will return later this summer for preseason training with at least two new faces. The Sky Blues haven’t lingered as they start looking for methods to bolster their team in anticipation of the Championship run that will come next year.

Although the majority of their squad is under contract, having only arrived last summer, City has already pruned around the margins of their group. Brad Bradley, Dermi Lusala, Simon Moore, Liam Kelly, and Bradley Stretton have all left, and Luis Binks has returned to parent club Bologna following his loan period. When Callum O’Hare’s current contract expires at the end of next month, he has been offered a new one.

via Friday, the team announced—rather ingeniously at first, via social media—that they had signed Raphael Rodrigues to a four-year deal with Macarthur in Australia. The winger is eager to see what the upcoming season—his first in English football—has in store.
“After chatting with the manager and all the staff, I got a lot of confidence that they think I can come here and have an impact,” he stated. Although it will undoubtedly be difficult, I believe they will assist me in adapting as best they can and in taking this next step in my career.
