For the previous three seasons, the pass rush of the Atlanta Falcons has been appalling. They finished 31st in 2022 and 26th in 2023, 32nd in 2021 and 28th in 2023 in terms of sacks and pass rush win percentage, and 21st in 2023 and 32nd in terms of pass rush win percentage.

For a considerable amount of time, EDGE has been necessary. Raheem Morris emphasized the value of bolstering the squad with pass rushers each season.

“Given our past, I believe it’s a top priority for us,” Falcons head coach Raheem Morris stated last month at the Annual League Meeting. “I believe you should acquire pass rushers each and every year. I doubt that I would ever sit here as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and say, “I don’t want to add one of those guys.” If you want to have an impact on the quarterback, I believe you need to keep adding those players every year.

The Falcons drafted Bralen Trice in the 3rd round, 74th overall of the 2024 NFL Draft.

A four-year rookie contract worth an estimated $5,929,730 plus a signing bonus of $1,132,532 was inked by him.

He was in Washington for five seasons.
For the 2019 campaign, Trice made a three-star recruit commitment to the Huskies. He would play 40 games and start 29 during his steady tenure with the team. In addition to his forced fumble, he had 18 sacks, 28.5 TFLs, and 101 tackles.

In 2023, Trice participated in 15 games, 15 of which he started. He finished with an 88.1 PFF grade, 49 tackles, 11.5 TFLs, seven sacks, one forced fumble, 80 pressures, 53 hurries, and 19 hits. Per PFF, he also earned a pass-rush rating of 90.8, a run-defense grade of 72.1, a pass-rush win percentage of 17.6%, and a run-stop win percentage of 6.3%. He was included in the Pac-12’s All-Pac-12 First Team, and the

Arnold Ebiketie is probably going to hold onto the other starting place, therefore Trice will be up against Carter for that spot.

With 35 tackles, six TFLs, three sacks, 21 pressures, 12 hurries, six hits, and a 67.0 PFF grade in 2023, Carter participated in 17 games and started one.
