ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills, led by general manager Brandon Beane, announced a series of scouting department moves on Friday that included the promotion of Matt Bazirgan to the position of director of college scouting.
Bazirgan, who had previously held the title of senior personnel executive, had just finished his second season with the team. In other moves, pro scout Asil Mulbah was elevated to assistant director of pro scouting, and Keith Jennings, who had been Buffalo’s BLESTO scout, was hired as an area scout.
After playing for the Arizona Cardinals for the last 11 seasons, Darius Vinnett has joined the Bills as an area scout. Darius Vinnett, who most recently held the position of assistant general manager of the CFL Toronto Argonauts, was also hired by the team to fill the position of pro scout.
