NFL’s 2023 breakout team will be ‘real dangerous’ this year, according to star wide receiver

In their division, they improved from last year’s bottom to the top, but what can they do in 2024?
In 2023, the Houston Texans emerged as the NFL’s biggest surprise.

Under Lovie Smith, the squad had a 3-13-1 record and finished last in the AFC South in 2022. However, under new head coach DeMeco Ryans, the team achieved an incredible turnaround last year.

With a 10-7 record, the revived Texans would win their division. In the Wild Card playoff round, they defeated the Cleveland Browns 45-14. Despite losing to the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round, this team’s remarkable comeback from worst to best and their youthful, talented squad bode well for the future.

The Texans acquired Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs this summer to give reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud another weapon, sensing that their Super Bowl window is fully open.

Nico Collins, another wide receiver, is pleased by this move.

Collins remarked, via KPRC2 Sports, “Oh yeah, it’s going to be dangerous, real dangerous, man,” at his young football camp.

“With Diggs in the room, there will be a lot of weaponry.” Everybody will have fantastic opportunities. It’s just giving the squad and the offense additional depth and weapons. For us, the sky is the limit. eagerly awaiting the start of the season.”

Collins is eager for the Texans offense to be unleashed, especially with the addition of running back Joe Mixon, another skilled free agency.

“Dude, it feels good. I think there are a lot of weapons in the offense,” he continued. “There is a chance for everyone. There will be a spectacular play once they have the ball in their hands. We should, in my opinion, keep honing the details, staying true to who we are, having fun, and demonstrating our abilities to the outside world. I’m very excited about it.

When the 2024 season gets underway, the Texans are probably going to be among the favorites to win the Super Bowl in New Orleans. On Wednesday, the NFL will unveil the schedule in its entirety.
