Now that day one is done, wasn’t it an exciting ride?

Amarius Mims gave the Cincinnati Bengals their guy in the first round. Right tackle may be crossed off the board, but in Rounds two and three, where will the Bengals go?

Here are a few of the top players available for the NFL Draft going into Day 2.

Defensive Hits
Yes, it did indeed occur. Johnny “Jer’Zhan” Newton was eliminated in the opening round. Newton routinely breaks through the offensive backfield as a superb pass rusher. He might be the defensive addition the Bengals have been waiting for.

It’s okay if you miss out on Johnny. Michael Hall of Ohio State is a quick addition to the defensive interior and a master at stunting into other gaps. With his powerful leg drive, Clemson’s Ruke Orhorhoro can win with either speed or strength.

I’m quite enthused about a man named Brandon Dorlus. Although he was a wide player for Oregon’s defense, he has all the makings of an excellent NFL three-technique. When it comes to stopping the pass and the run, he is unstoppable. He gains strength, quick feet, and dexterity.

Kris Jenkins of Michigan and Maason Smith of LSU both possess the necessary physical attributes and could be available for the Bengals on Day 2.

Drawbacks
While Cooper DeJean’s continued service on the board is stunning, Kool-Aid McKinstry’s continued service is astonishing. Both could have an instant effect and would be a fantastic fit for the Bengals.

Both technicians possess exceptional quickness and possess well developed skill sets appropriate for their roles. McKinstry of Alabama is a strong, physical player. DeJean from Iowa has versatility and outstanding ball abilities. He is a superb return specialist as well.

After those two, there’s T.J. Tampa of Iowa State and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. of Missouri, but if it were up to me, I’d go with Kamari Lassiter, a Georgia Bulldog. He evaluates situations really well and moves quickly enough to make the play.

Broad Receiver
Ladd McConkey of Georgia is a unique player. Although he can play outside, his dominance in the slot will be evident. McConkey has exceptionally natural hands and is a fantastic route runner. He would give this Bengals offense a fresh dynamic.

The most important thing I can say about Texas’s Adonai Mitchell is that he always caught my attention when I watched Xavier Worthy, his former teammate who was selected in the first round by the Kansas City Chiefs. Mitchell is speedy, but Worthy is fast too. He can be an AC/DC threat for the Bengals offense because of his excellent route running.
