As expected, Chase became a part of Burrow’s Bengals team that evening, and the rest is history. Since then, Burrow and Chase have been an unstoppable team, and they were just named among the NFL’s top quarterback/receiver combinations.

That LSU connection
Given that Burrow and Chase were teammates at LSU during their undergraduate careers, it’s hardly shocking that they have established such strong chemistry in just three NFL seasons. In 2020, the two helped the Tigers win a National Championship after playing together for two seasons in Louisiana. Burrow was selected first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Chase has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times since being drafted and has amassed over 1,000 receiving yards in each of his three seasons. The Bengals advanced to the AFC Championship games in 2021 and 2022 in a row, and at the end of the 2021 season, they were invited to the Super Bowl.
While Chase is about to begin his fourth season in Cincinnati, Burrow is about to begin his fifth, and it seems probable that the two will stay together for the foreseeable future. Burrow already has a huge contract in place, and Chase is expected to get a big extension this summer or the following one. Put another way, the two LSU players still have a lot of damage to do in the NFL.
