Jimmy Thelin, a new Swede, will take over as interim manager in the summer, leaving Interim Manager Leven in control.

Aberdeen’s team has been tasked by Peter Leven to rise above the competition.

The Dons were quite proud of their performance in the Scottish Cup semi-final, but on Saturday, they suffered the pain of losing on penalties. Leven is aiming for a clean sweep of five victories in the bottom six and wants their performance at Hampden to establish the standard. This weekend, Aberdeen plays Motherwell at home before traveling to play St Johnstone, Hibs, Livingston, and Ross County.

Aberdeen’s team has been tasked by Peter Leven to rise above the competition.

“The challenge is to finish as high up the table as possible,” Leven stated. I told them that the challenge was to go to the league and place as highly as possible. Up until the conclusion of the season, there will be a strong push. More of the same must be provided. We are not happy with the situation we find ourselves in. Start of our five huge games is on Saturday. I’m pleased that we have two home games to begin. At this club, winning each and every game is required.”

Although they have performed well in cup competitions, Aberdeen has struggled this season in the Premiership under Barry Robson and Neil Warnock. Now that Leven is in charge, things will stay that way until the summer, when Jimmy Thelin takes over.

Not just in the games, the interim manager wants constant improvement. He declared, “Those are the standards that the fans and I have set.” Thus, I’ll see to it that the participants are aware of that.

And every day, they are aware of that. You have to win even in five-a-side training in order to set the daily pace and expectations.

The Aberdeen players will need some time to heal physically and psychologically after giving it their all at Hampden. Today at Cormack Park, the team will resume training and start getting ready for Motherwell.

Leven is aware that it is his responsibility to reignite them. “The changing area is a little bit small, but that is my

“I told them that was the norm. To be fair, ever since I arrived, I have rested, healed, and left again. These five major league games are coming up.
“Ever since I entered, the spirit has been present. The fans were incredible; they never gave up and never stopped encouraging us. At times, we were the superior squad. In particular, during the second half, we had Celtic rattled. I feel so bad for the lads.

After missing the penalties in the shout-out, Killian Phillips and Ryan Duncan will be especially dejected, but Leven commended each and every one of his players who volunteered. A protracted pause following Kelle Roos’s cramping didn’t help Duncan.

“I will never criticize anyone who wants to step up and take a penalty,” declared Leven. Jack Milne and Ryan Duncan are two recent academy grads. They showed courage by accepting it, and that is sufficient.
