The former first overall choice was unable to repeat his prior highs in 2023, managing just 10 games.

In a very tough AFC, it’s safe to argue that the Bengals have been the Chiefs’ greatest threat for the past three seasons. The Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have won back-to-back titles and made appearances in three of the last four Super Bowls. Kansas City may have made four straight Super Bowl berths if not for Burrow.

Per a recent article from NFL.com, Burrow opened up about the heated rivalry and the Bengals chances of overcoming the Super Bowl champs in 2024.

“I think we both work really hard. They have great players, we have great players. I think we match up pretty well with them. I think we’re built to beat them. I always appreciate the legendary battles we have. Guys are out there always making plays. Both teams have big-time defensive lines. It’s a great matchup,” said Burrow

More than any other quarterback in the NFL right now, Burrow has a lifetime 3-1 record versus Mahomes and the Chiefs. He was speaking on The New Heights podcast with the Kelce brothers. If not for a narrow 23–20 triumph in the 2023 AFC title match. It might have gone Burrow’s way, 4-0.

Burrow has completed 68 percent of his throws, amassed 14083 passing yards, and scored 97 touchdowns in his four seasons with the Bengals. During that time, he has guided his team to both an AFC and Super Bowl championship. An amazing accomplishment given that he is still only 27 years old.
