NBA Finals: 'Livid' Steph Curry bracing for 'bounce-back' | CNN

Over the years, Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving have engaged in some amazing duels. The two elite point guards faced off in the thrilling 2016 NBA Finals series, the biggest stage in the game, and have since faced off in several matches.

When asked about Curry after the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks game on Friday night, Irving responded, “I just show respect to the guys like that.” He has worked extremely hard in our league. He has established the standard for many of us, and we are continuously striving to live up to his legacy. As a competitor, wanting to perform well against someone like that is inevitable. He makes you feel your best. He’s going to enter and perform Steph Curry moves. For my part, I’ve attempted to use some of his strong points to improve my own play. Mutual regard is present without a doubt.”

Irving has a lot of respect for Curry, and is one of the most outspoken players in the league when it comes to supporting his fellow competitors.
