After joining the Hoops on loan from the Canaries in January, the Irish striker has made a smooth transition to Glasgow, scoring five goals in ten games across all competitions. Despite their initial reservations, the club’s supporters have come to love the 23-year-old after he scored a few significant goals, prompting requests to sign him to a long-term contract.

It was disclosed by Football Scotland during the winter transfer window that no agreement had been reached over a future fee between the two teams. It is now confirmed that Norwich is holding off on making a decision until the summer to see how their own loan swoop performs.

Sydney van Hooijdonk was brought to Carrow Road from Bologna on loan and Football Scotland can reveal that the Championship side are not yet willing to commit on selling Idah until the Dutchman proves his worth.

After the Canaries’ bad run of play early in the season caused them to fall down the table and put increasing pressure on David Wagner, it appeared as though this would be another disappointing season for him.

However, the team stuck with Wagner, and as they attempt to qualify for the postseason this year, it appears like they are reaping the rewards of that choice. With six league games left, Norwich can secure a top-six position, but teams like Hull, Preston, and Coventry City will challenge them.

One player who isn’t part of what Norwich can achieve this season is forward Adam Idah, as the club decided to loan him out to Scottish champions Celtic in the January transfer window.

The forward has taken to life well in Scotland, and that has caused his future to be a topic of debate, so here we decided to look at the latest news involving the player…see details>>https://sportsrock247.com/2024/04/07/news-nowwho-does…e-return-without/
