The Steelers have been having a big offseason up to this point with moving on from quarterback Kenny Pickett and going with Russell Wilson as the starter, but bringing in Justin Fields as the backup quarterback was also a very good move for Pittsburgh.
Dionate Johnson is no longer on the Steelers’ roster at the wide receiver position. George Pickens is the top wide receiver on the Steelers, but they are looking to upgrade at that position.
It would be interesting to see what kind of draft pick the Commanders would want back if they did trade him away to the Steelers. Pittsburgh is looking to win now in a tough AFC North division and the Washington Commanders can very well be starting over with a new regime in place.
The Steelers are looking to upgrade offensively. San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk’s name continues to be floating around at the wide receiver position. He would be a better option for the Steelers than McLaurin, but he might be the cheaper option for Pittsburgh.
