The quarterback room of the Pittsburgh Steelers, led by coach Mike Tomlin, has undergone a dramatic overhaul with the addition of two prominent players and the trade of former starter Kenny Pickett to the Eagles. In order to cover the vacuum, the Broncos recruited Justin Fields and former starter Russell Wilson. Wilson and fans are now discussing and considering the possibilities.
Russell Wilson chose to send a message to his new teammate in an attempt to defuse the turbulent times that were sweeping through Steel City.
Wilson Welcomes Fields: Following his trade from the Chicago Bears, Fields welcomed his young teammate to Pittsburgh, eliciting a joyful response from fans and commentators alike, including Robert Griffin III.
Griffin III said, “LOVE THIS.”
“Pittsburgh, you have a real one in Justin Fields, and even with the Steelers, Bears fans will be there to cheer him on.” Respect,’ said an additional fan.
