Leeds making place for new arrivals
Leeds has blossomed into a team that is determined to go up the league table quickly, despite having a difficult beginning to life back in the Championship. The Whites are currently seated in the spots designated for automatic promotion, and they are beginning to make plans for the upcoming season.
According to recent sources, Cody Drameh, a full back, may have played his final game for the team. It seems certain that the defender, who is now on loan at Birmingham, will be let go when he returns to Elland Road this summer.
Sam Greenwood and Ian Poveda, two more Championship loanees, will follow Drameh. Both players, who are now on the rosters of Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday, respectively, are surplus to requirements in West Yorkshire and are therefore available for purchase this summer.
Leeds intends to raid a Premier League pair
Leeds is expected to go on a massive summer buying spree, and their first objectives are two players from the top flight, according to Team Talk. According to the source, the Whites are planning attempts to sign Sean Longstaff and Joe Rodon, who are both keen to come to West Yorkshire. Additionally, efforts are reportedly “being made” to guarantee Rodon’s permanent status.
In the meantime, Nick Hammond is touted as the Whites’ hidden weapon in their hunt for Longstaff. According to the publication, Hammond “may give Leeds an advantage in their pursuit of signing the player because he counts the Geordies among his former clubs.”
