Fans may be willing to overlook the loss of safety Xavier McKinney and running back Saquon Barkley if Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux prove to be one of the greatest pass-rushing tandems in New York Football Giants history. Of course, hindsight is 20/20.

New York Giants exercise fifth-year option on Dexter Lawrence

For Giants supporters, the free agency signing process, which started last week, has been bittersweet. Mr Barkley penned a three-year contract.

Odell Beckham Jr. may play for the other New York team after starting his NFL career with the Giants.

The New York Jets should “keep an eye on” multi-time All-Pro receiver Beckham, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN on Sunday. In addition, Cimini notes that wide receiver Mike Williams, a fellow veteran, will have a visit with the Jets next week.

The Baltimore Ravens recently dismissed 31-year-old Beckham a few days ago. Although he is clearly past his prime at this time, he nevertheless played a respectable part in the Ravens’ 14-game campaign last year, hauling in 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

For Beckham, who was extremely close to signing with the Jets last summer before deciding to join with Baltimore, the Jets are a familiar sight. Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Jets, is a renowned fan of his, and he might still make sense in New York with receivers Randall Cobb, Corey Davis, and (probably) Allen Lazard out of the picture.
