The Pittsburgh Steelers are probably not done adding wide receivers, as they recently acquired veteran receiver Van Jefferson. Tyler Boyd, a seasoned wide receiver with the Cincinnati Bengals, seems to be Pittsburgh’s top free agent wide receiver target. However, if Boyd signs with another team, Pittsburgh may turn its attention to Odell Beckham Jr., a rival wide receiver.

Mike DeFabo of The Athletic included Beckham among the other top wide receiver free agents available to the Steelers.

Linebacker Patrick Queen and safety DeShone Elliott are the two former Baltimore Ravens players whom the Steelers have already signed this offseason. However, it makes a lot of sense to add a third from the AFC’s top seed in 2023 to neutralize a division rival’s top receiving threat.

Despite only catching 35 passes in 2023, Beckham was efficient with the passes he did catch. With 565 receiving yards under his belt, he averaged a career-high 16.1 yards per reception. In addition, he had three touchdowns and significantly altered the locker room.

According to Jeff Zrebeic of The Athletic, “The Ravens loved what he brought to the team, and he mostly delivered when given opportunities.”

When it came to receiving yards for Baltimore, Beckham came in second. The Steelers, who traded away Diontae Johnson on March 12, are searching for a No. 2 receiver to help George Pickens.
