Chapel Hill, North Carolina — Four Tar Heels were honored on Monday as part of the ACC’s all-league awards ceremony.

Harrison Ingram was chosen for the third team, Armando Bacot for the second, and RJ Davis for the first team of the All-ACC. The all-rookie team was formed with Elliott Cadeau. Bacot was also selected for the all-defensive team.

Votes were cast for Sixth Man of the Year, going to Seth Trimble.

In his final year at North Carolina, Davis is having a breakthrough campaign. With 21.1 points per game, he leads the ACC in scoring. He shoots 43.2% from the field, a career-high 41.6% from three, and an impressive 88.6% from the free throw line. In addition, he averages 1.2 steals, 3.5 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game.

This season, he has scored thirty points or more three times, including a career-high forty-two points against Miami, a Smith Center record.

On Monday, Davis received recognition as the conference player of the year as well. He was named conference player of the week four times, an ACC record.

Bacot is averaging 13.9 points on 54% shooting, 10.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game, which leads the squad in his fifth season. This season, he has recorded 14 double-doubles, bringing his career total and UNC record to 82.

Throughout his career, Bacot—the all-time top rebounder at UNC—has been selected to four All-ACC teams.

During his debut season with the Tar Heels, Ingram is averaging 12.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and a 37.4% shooting percentage from outside the 3-point line. During the 20-game conference regular season, the former Stanford wing topped the ACC in rebounding, grabbing 10.9 rebounds per contest. Both head coach Hubert Davis and Ingram’s teammates have praised Ingram for his competitive nature and adaptability on the floor.

Cadeau is averaging a team-high four assists per game in his rookie season, ranking him eighth in the ACC. The first-year guard was the No. 11 ranked player in the Class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite rankings. He re-classed a year early to compete with the Tar Heels this season. Cadeau is also averaging 7.7 points on 44.4% shooting. He’s started in 24 of UNC’s 31 games.
