After recording a career-high seven interceptions last year, former Ravens safety Geno Stone is joining the Bengals. Upon his departure, Stone’s former quarterback was not amused and prepared some jokes for him to hear.

Watch the joke from Lamar Jackson and some of Stone’s best moments from Baltimore.

Following rumors on Monday that safety Geno Stone of the Baltimore Ravens would be joining the rival Cincinnati Bengals in free agency, quarterback Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens appeared to be trolling former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber.

In response to a news about Stone’s signing on X, Jackson made light of his former teammate’s decision to join one of Baltimore’s most formidable opponents. He appeared to be taking a jab at Barber as well, as on Monday Barber responded negatively to the announcement that Saquon Barkley had committed to a three-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Barkley’s decision to move to the Eagles from New York infuriated Barber and the other co-hosts of the radio show, and Jackson’s hilarious answer was a result of their outrage. Stone added a humorous, NSFW comment of his own in reaction to X.

After being selected in the seventh round of the 2020 draft out of Iowa, Stone spent four seasons playing in Baltimore. Last season, he played in 11 games as a starter and set career highs with seven interceptions and 68 tackles. Stone will now play his previous squad twice a year when he moves to Cincinnati and remains in the division.
