Nuno Tavares, a defender for Nottingham Forest, provided an update on his most recent injury setback. The player hasn’t played since February’s 2-0 victory against West Ham.

The footballer has now been interviewed by Jornal de Noticias, a Portuguese publication. Tavares has been substituted by Harry Toffolo; Tavares has missed the last three Premier League games.

It’s obvious that the 24-year-old has been missed because Forest has lost each of the three games he has missed.

Nuno Tavares updates the team about Nottingham Forest’s comeback.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the gifted left-back will be sidelined for very long. This information is really appreciated, and it appears that his injuries is not too significant.

After his injury, Tavares has been communicating, and it seems likely that he will return soon to help the Forest cause.

“I didn’t do my pre-season training, and that’s why I suffered that first injury,” he said to Jornal de Noticias. I was okay at this point until I got hurt again. I’ll be back soon, but obviously I’m sorry not to be doing what I love.”

Tavares might not have had a chance to play against Forest right away. After taking the player on loan from Arsenal, Steve Cooper didn’t really give him any playing time.
