Breiden Fehoko, a nose tackle, has signed a one-year deal with the Steelers, the organization announced on Friday.
A year ago, Fehoko signed a free agency contract with the Steelers. He was added to the 53-player roster on September 20, having begun the season on the team’s practice squad.
Fehoko was later waived by the Steelers and added back to the practice squad.
During the regular season, he saw 0 action.
Fehoko signed as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 draft and played with the Chargers for the past three seasons (2020–22).
In his 19 career games, Fehoko has started four.
Today, the Steelers also declared the release of Allen Robinson II, a receiver, and cornerback Patrick Peterson.
In 2023, Peterson joined the Steelers via free agency. He played in all 17 games, starting 16 of them. In addition to 11 passes defensed, he recorded 42 tackles and two interceptions.
Robinson was acquired by the Steelers from the Rams in an offseason transaction in 2023. In 2023, he participated in all 17 games and recorded 34 catches for 280 yards.
