Do they have what it takes to win everything this year with a few key players still questionable, others coming back from lengthy injury absences, the team barreling toward the 2024 season, and numerous updated sponsorship deals?

Fiji Airways, who signed at the conclusion of the 2023 season, has agreed to a minimum 3-year contract with the team. The airline now sports its logo on the front of the Storm’s playing shorts as a Premium Partner. As part of the agreement, the airline will also get name rights to the Fiji Airways Lounge, the team’s brand-new, first-rate gameday hospitality area at AAMI Park.

As part of the new partnership, the club have committed to working toward bringing more rugby league to Fijian shores. The team’s second pre-season challenge match against the Newcastle Knights last weekend was played in Latouka.

“We know the people of Fiji love their Rugby League, and we look forward to announcing several new initiatives both on the ground in Fiji and in Melbourne over the coming months that will build on this exciting announcement and strengthen our connection with the Fijian community,” said Storm CEO, Justin Rodski when the deal was penned.

Storm and CarSales announced in 2022 that they will be extending their cooperation through at least the end of the 2025 season. Through the agreement, the vehicle trade website’s branding will be protected on player jerseys, practice balls, team uniforms, and on-field advertising during game days.

In honor of the extension, the two collaborated with Wall Lords to paint a mural featuring former players Ryan Papenhuyzen, Jahrome Hughes, and Xavier Coates next to Richmond Station.

In 2022, Paul Barlow, managing director of CarSales, stated, “Three years is a long-term commitment in the current sporting landscape, and it’s indicative not only of the opportunity we see but also the strong alignment of cultures at the Storm and carsales.” Sports and auto sales go well together. Every successful sports team has passion, moral character, and—above all—a strong sense of collaboration.

A new sponsor for a new campaign. O’Neills became the team’s official apparel partner at the end of the previous season, with effect from the 2024–2025 campaign. During the duration of the agreement, the sportswear company will provide the squad with playing and performance apparel. Additionally, it will offer a wide selection for men, women, and children as well as a strong retail offering to members and admirers.

“We are eager for this exciting partnership to begin, as O’Neills shares the same values as Melbourne Storm: commitment, hard work, and care for its people,” Rodski stated in a statement from the previous year.
