Despite speculation over the future of top cornerback Marshon Lattimore of the New Orleans Saints, the team seems to be moving on.
Numerous ChatSports sources claim that the Saints have visited with Iowa CB Cooper DeJean and expressed interest in him.
Despite his recuperating leg ailment, DeJean was present at the Indianapolis 2024 NFL Draft Combine this past week.

In 2023, DeJean participated in eleven games before undergoing surgery to repair a fibula fracture in mid-November. For two seasons, he was a mainstay on the fierce Hawkeye defense. DeJean started 23 games in the previous two seasons, recording 82 solo tackles, 20 pass deflections, and 7 interceptions.

Marshon Lattimore was the final defensive back selected in the first round by New Orleans in 2017.

Considering the skill of Taylor, Adebo, and Lattimore, cornerback is arguably not the position with the most need in the first round. But as the draft approaches, pay special attention to the trade negotiations with Marshon Lattimore.

DeJean is presently ranked as the top cornerback prospect and the fifteenth overall pick in this year’s selection, according to NFL selection Buzz.
