The San Francisco 49ers have a bright future ahead of them, despite not making it to the Super Bowl. The Detroit Lions’ Graham Glasgow must be acquired by the front office in order to strengthen Brock Purdy’s surrounding protection.
The 49ers overcame several opponents in the playoffs, mostly due to their third-ranked offense and defense among the 32 teams in the NFL. Among them are two narrow victories over the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
In Super Bowl LVIII, the 49ers discovered the Kansas City Chiefs on the opposing side of the field once the smoke cleared. With a score of 25–22 in overtime, the latter prevailed after a fierce struggle.
The 49ers, who were defeated by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, are now ready to approach free agency with many players departing. The squad is also trying to add players in free agency for the next campaign.
