Tim Hardaway, a former NBA great, recently spoke on the podcast @TheOGsShow to discuss his all-time Miami Heat starting lineup.


Hardaway talked to former Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller about his all-time starting lineup for the team. It featured himself, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Alonzo Mourning, and Shaquille O’Neal.

It was Hardaway who stated, “Oh man, Tim Hardaway, Dwyane Wade, I got to put LeBron (James) in there, I can’t go nowhere without my buddy, Zo (Alonzo Mourning), and Shaquille O’Neal.”

During his stint in Miami, Hardaway averaged 17.3 points, 7.8 assists, and 3.2 rebounds. Wade, regarded as the best player in Heat history, averaged 22.7 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.7 rebounds. James led the Heat to two titles in 2012 and 2013, averaging 26.9 points, 6.7 assists, and 7.6 rebounds. Mourning averaged 16.0 points, 1.1 assists, and 8.1 assists, while O’Neal had an average of 19.6 points, 2.1 assists, and 9.1 rebounds.

Hardaway was selected 14th overall in the 1989 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors, where he spent six seasons and was named an All-Star three times. He was eventually moved to the Miami Heat and was named an All-Star twice more while in Miami.

With the exception of James, all of the players are Hall of Famers. James will join after he retires.
