The Cleveland Browns have a difficult decision to make this offseason.

Nick Chubb has established himself as a fixture in the organization, and supporters will be sad to see him go.

Chubb has been so efficient and dominant for the team that he co-leads the NFL with 94 rushes of 10 yards or more over the last three seasons, tied with Indianapolis Colts standout running back Jonathan Taylor.

That’s even more astonishing when you consider that he missed the majority of last season.

However, it does provide insight into what the Browns might do with him.

He’s had two major injuries dating back to college, and we’ve seen how teams handle aged running backs, let alone those coming off a serious injury.

Chubb has single-handedly carried Cleveland’s offense, earning him respect in the locker room, fan support, and recognition as one of the league’s finest offensive players.

New Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey’s approach will most likely emphasis on the passing game, which makes sense given the team’s investment in quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Even yet, regardless of Cleveland’s feelings about No. 2 running back Jerome Ford, all teams should establish the run and have an efficient running game to assist their quarterbacks.

For the Browns, it just feels like they have to do right by the best offensive player they’ve had in recent years, and maybe their second-best player overall, trailing only Myles Garrett.

Kevin Stefanski Makes Major Announcement About Browns’ Facilities

The Cleveland Browns are listening to their players.

Just one day after ranking No. 23 in the NFLPA survey, they want to make their players happy and do right by them once and for all.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski said during his press conference at this week’s NFL Scouting Combine that they will develop a new weight room.

The Browns’ current weight room has been inside their little field house since 2020, and the players were open and brutal about it.

The weight room was relocated to the end of the field house during the COVID-19 epidemic and has remained there ever since.

That removes 15 to 20 yards from an already short indoor field.

Furthermore, the players believe the equipment is obsolete and subpar, and that they can obtain better equipment and exercises outside of the organization’s facility, which plainly makes no sense for a professional football team, let alone an NFL squad.

The weight room received a D grade, and it has been a reoccurring issue and complaint among the athletes each time they have to do this survey.

The Browns had a successful 2023 season, and the players definitely believe in their vision.

They love the team and what they stand for, and they will continue to execute their jobs professionally regardless.

Still, it’s only reasonable that players have the necessary equipment and room to perform at their best on the field; these things are important and can make a difference.

Browns Legend Offers His Thoughts On Potential International Game

The Browns last played an international game in 2017, losing 33-16 to the Minnesota Vikings.

It’s also worth mentioning that this was the team’s only abroad game since the league began international play in 2007.

Notably, that could change this season, as NBC Sports’ Peter King said earlier this month that he’s “feeling good” about the Browns’ Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

With that in mind, Browns icon Hanford Dixon stated that it would be beneficial to the franchise, as they have not had an international game in some time (via The Hanford Dixon Show on Twitter).

Teams are usually not delighted with these kind of games.

However, having an international game in the first week of the season may not have a significant impact on them because they are mainly healthy and have the full season ahead of them.

If the Browns are selected to play in South America, the game would be played on a Friday, marking the first game of this nature in the first week since the 1970 season.

Nonetheless, it could be a challenging start to the season for the club, as they will also be on the road for Week 2 due to a Billy Joel and Rod Stewart performance at Cleveland Brown Stadium on Friday, September 13.

Whatever the case, the fans will only hope the Browns take care of business, whether it’s in Cleveland, Brazil, or the moon.
