The Sin City does not agree with New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner.

Gardner told X on Tuesday about a “magical” occurrence that happened during his recent vacation to Las Vegas during Super Bowl week that spooked him out.

I was in Vegas, and long story short, someone performed a card trick, and I am 1000000% certain that the cards were in my hands. Finally, he said, “Now it’s a block of glass; move your hand,” and I held a block of glass instead of the cards. I am not going back to Vegas.

Gardner disclosed to his X followers that “somebody” was Carl Michael, who calls himself “The Celebrities Magician” on his X page. Michael commented on X that Gardner’s “reaction was INSANE” after he performed the magic trick at the NFLPA party.

Gardner made his second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance this season, totaling 57 tackles and 11 passes defended. Maybe he can persuade Michael to end the Jets’ postseason drought, which has lasted since 2010.

Chandler Jones, an NFL free agent, apologizes on social media for his recent shenanigans.

Chandler Jones had a busy 2023-24 season. The 33-year-old defensive end began his second season with the Las Vegas Raiders but was discharged due to legal and mental health difficulties. He became an NFL free agent, but his elaborate social media message hinted to a breakthrough.

Chandler Jones appears to be in a better situation after worrisome news during the 2023-24 NFL season.

Chandler Jones was released by the Raiders in late September following his arrest for reportedly breaking a domestic violence order. Then the defensive end went on a confusing social media post rampage, raising questions about his mental health.

However, he appears to have turned a new leaf, as he released a serious and contemplative social media post.

“Over the past few months, I’ve been dealing with some personal matters, but I’m happy to share I’m feeling much better now,” Jones wrote on Facebook. “I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, friends, and fans for your unwavering support.”

The former Pro Bowler went on to say, “In addition, I’d like to apologize to anyone I may have accidentally upset. “Your understanding and support mean everything to me.”

It’s fantastic to see Chandler Jones feeling better. Hopefully, he will continue his trajectory and earn another shot to play during his time as an NFL free agency. Jones finished his final full season with the Raiders with 21 solo tackles, 17 assists, 4.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.

If all remains well, perhaps an NFL team in need of a veteran defensive player will give Chandler Jones an opportunity.
